What space is needed to install an autonomous restaurant?

My Cantine is truly the most space-efficient solution for your in-house dining! To install a connected fridge, you only need a 20 sq ft area, a standard outlet, and an RJ45 internet cable (easy to install) or as an option with a 4/5G modem. For food operators, a kitchen PC is also required. The advantage of My Cantine's connected fridge is that it doesn't require much space or a dedicated room. It can be placed in an open space, and employees can dine at their desks, which is very common among our clients.

What is the energy consumption of an autonomous restaurant?

A My Cantine connected fridge plugs into a standard 110/115 V outlet with 3 amps. The power consumption of connected fridges is about 2.5 kWh.

How are the cleaning and maintenance of the autonomous restaurant carried out?

At My Cantine, we place great importance on the maintenance and cleaning of our connected fridges to offer you a quality experience and a trusting relationship with our teams. Here's how we proceed: the fridge is cleaned daily by the food operator during their visits to restock the dishes. Regarding technical maintenance, we are proud of our in-house technical team with extensive expertise. By mastering our own technology, we can resolve 98% of technical issues remotely. This allows us to respond quickly to problems and ensure our solution operates optimally at all times.

How does the My Cantine autonomous restaurant work?

The My Cantine solution can be restocked daily with delicious meals from your food operator. Employees can easily open the fridge using their mobile app, credit card, or company badge and select the meals they want. To open the fridge door, the user simply needs to authenticate themselves with one of these three methods. Once the meals are chosen and removed from the fridge, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) antennas enable automatic billing. Each meal package contains a microchip that is detected by the antennas, ensuring a seamless transaction. This technology enhances the user experience, allowing them to quickly and easily enjoy their favourite meals.

Where do the meals sold in the autonomous restaurants come from?

Ultimately, you choose the food operator that will provide your meals. Our goal is always to offer you the best ingredients for a varied and balanced diet while respecting the environment.

What is the capacity of an autonomous restaurant?

The capacity of an autonomous restaurant is between 100 and 140 meals. Every morning, if needed, the fridges are restocked to ensure a fresh and varied selection throughout the day.
